Alyssa Reder: Intercollegiate Coach
This will be Alyssa's third season with the team. Alyssa is a native of Superior, WI and trained in Duluth, MN with the Duluth Figure Skating Club. She is a double gold medalist in freestyle and moves in the field. Alyssa is PSA Registered, rated in Freestyle and Moves in the Field. Currently she is the Director of Learn to Skate Duluth at the Duluth Figure Skating Club, and a full-time coach there as well. She was a National Collegiate Competitor for the College of St. Scholastica, where she graduated with degrees in Natural Science and Psychology.
Alison Wade: Synchronized Coach
This is Alison's 5th season with the team. Alison is also a coach for the Duluth Figure Skating Club. Prior to that, she spent 11 years in California where she founded and coached the South Bay Sunsets synchronized skating teams. The teams competed in the youth, teen introductory, preliminary, juvenile, open juvenile, and intermediate levels. In 2005, Alison mentored with the coaching staff of elite teams, including the Crystalettes, Team Elan, and The ICE'Kateers.
Cadence Brunzlick: Ice-dance Coach
Cadence is one of our very own skaters. Cadence has been coaching basic skills for six consecutive years and has been giving private lessons for two years at various clubs including Langlade, Timberline, Merrill Ice Reflections, Duluth and Superior figure skating clubs. She has coached through the silver dance level and has been our ice-dance coach for one year now. She especially loves watching skaters grow and mature in the sport. Cadence has passed her Senior Moves, Gold Dance and 4 International Dances, Novice Solo Freedance, Juvenile Pairs and Juvenile Freeskate. She competed in the National Solo Dance Championships in 2013 at the pre-gold pattern dance level taking 7th place. She is our President for the 2016-2017 season and a Junior studying Biology, intending to pursue a career in optometry.
